Willis Towers Watson on Monday named recently acquired Newfront co-founders Spike Lipkin chief AI officer and Gordon Wintrob head of AI acceleration.
Both Mr. Lipkin and Mr. Wintrob will report to CEO Carl Hess.
Mr. Lipkin previously was CEO and Mr. Wintrob chief technology officer of Newfront, which WTW acquired in January.
The appointments will scale Newfront’s AI capabilities across WTW and accelerate adoption of artificial intelligence across its global operations, the London-based brokerage said in a statement.
Mr. Lipkin will help shape how AI advances the company’s long-term strategy and competitive positioning, while Mr. Wintrob will focus on expanding enterprise-wide use of AI tools, WTW said.
These roles will “help to further embed AI across WTW to enable faster insights and smarter decisions,” CEO Carl Hess said in the statement.
