Willis names growth leaders – Business Insurance


Willis, the retail broking unit of Willis Towers Watson, said Monday it appointed former Marsh executive Michael Butch, growth operations leader for Corporate Risk & Broking North America.

Mr. Butch, based in Philadelphia, most recently was North American sales analytics and insights lead at Marsh. In the newly created role, he will oversee growth initiatives, request for proposal strategy and recruitment efforts.

Willis also named Jim Blaney as growth enablement leader for Corporate Risk & Broking North America.

Mr. Blaney, based in Philadelphia, most recently was head of sales and client management at WTW. He will focus on supporting new business generation, client retention and sales execution, Willis said.

Mr. Butch and Mr. Blaney join Brian Hetherington on the North America growth leadership team, reporting to Paul Graziano, chief growth officer for Willis.
