Keystone Agency Partners said Tuesday it has acquired Titan Risk Solutions, a trucking brokerage based in Overland Park, Kansas.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Titan will lead Keystone’s trucking vertical, increasing capacity, market access and technical expertise for transportation risks, the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania-based brokerage said in a statement.
Former Titan CEO Tim Smith will lead the transportation vertical, and Titan will continue to operate under its existing name during the transition before rebranding as Keystone Trucking Solutions later this year. Some 19 Titan employees will join Keystone.
The deal strengthens Keystone’s transportation capabilities across key segments, including long-haul trucking, regional fleets, specialized hauling and last-mile delivery, the brokerage said.
“Creating dedicated verticals is central to our strategy,” Dan Girardi, chief strategy officer at Keystone, said in the statement.
Keystone is the 31st-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
