American Worldwide Group mentioned Thursday it has appointed Neil Smallcombe president of Lexington Insurance coverage, its extra and surplus traces unit.
Mr. Smallcombe beforehand was head of casualty at Lexington.
He joined the insurer in London in 2003 and transferred to Chicago in 2013.
In his new function, Mr. Smallcombe will lead Lexington’s architects and engineers and well being care legal responsibility enterprise and Western World, its small-to-midmarket E&S enterprise, AIG mentioned.
Lexington CEO Lou Levinson had held the president title.
