Austria-headquartered Vienna Insurance Group AG Wiener Versicherung Gruppe has completed its acquisition of Nürnberger Beteiligungs AG and now owns 99% of the German firm’s share capital and voting rights, Life Insurance International reported. Vienna Insurance launched a voluntary public offer in October 2025 to acquire up to 100% of the company’s shares, valuing the business at 1.4 billion euros ($1.6 billion).
