Zurich Insurance Group said Wednesday it has appointed Patrick McBride head of international construction, a newly created role in its global specialty construction and surety business.
Mr. McBride will relocate to London and report to Kelly Kinzer, global head of construction and surety, Zurich said in a statement.
Mr. McBride previously was head of construction property in the U.S., where he helped develop coverages for construction risks, including a package for data center construction projects.
Before rejoining Zurich in 2018, he was middle market broking leader for the Mid-Atlantic region at Willis Towers Watson. Mr. McBride began his career at Zurich U.S. in its underwriting training program and held various underwriting roles in the construction property business.
